Bradford Summer 2007 brings you a fantastic range of fun packed, entertainment for all the family.
There is something for everyone. Whether you're besotted with Bollywood, want to experience the Mela for the first time, or just love chilling out in the city centre and seeing some great movies, Bradford has it all this summer - and it's all FREE!
Bradford's spectacular Bollywood Weekend kicks things off on June 7th. Celebrating the prestige of the International Indian Film Awards in Yorkshire,
Bradford will be celebrating in style with its very own fringe festival. You can watch the ceremony live on the BBC Big Screen in Centenary Square and enjoy the mesmerising dance, fireworks and water effects of the Bollywood Steps extravaganza.
Bradford's Big screen will broadcast Don Giovanni, live from the Royal Opera House on June 13th and Tosca on July 3rd, promising summer evenings of superb musical entertainment.
Later in July, experience the all new and exciting STIR, a quirky series of events created by the contemporary new media artists and musicians in the area. You’ll find them dotted around unexpected places in the city centre.
And lets not forget the wonderful district festivals Keighley, Ilkley, Howarth and Saltaire. Plus all the fantastic events in our Parks.
